realtime 3D asset for unreal engine
I created this 3D asset of a forklift for a Virtual Reality training application which is based on Unreal Engine 4. I designed a highpoly model of the forklift, which I used to bake normal and ambient occlusion maps for an optimized lowpoly model (ca. 10k polys / 20k tris). The lowpoly forklift mesh with color, normal and ambient occlusion maps is ideal for realtime applications (mobile, desktop or VR). Using Unreal Engine 4, it was possible to create nearly photorealistic realtime images of the forklift.
